Kelly Clarkson's "the Trouble With Love Is" Where It Appears in Love Actually

As the holiday season approaches, everyone will eat lots of food and sit to watch standard vacation movies – and we all have our own favorites! I've got a list of the best holiday movies, including RARE behind-the-scenes photos from the set of "It's A Wonderful Life", and and so often more!

First, get into the holiday spirit with Billy Mackintosh's "Christmas Is All Around"!

Thanks Billy, just what I needful to get into the vacation sprightliness! If you know this song, then you LOVE "Love Really" – one of the unsurpassed holiday movies ever! And I've got eager triviality about the film, courtesy of the terrifying website "IMDB."

"Love Actually" is a series of inter-locking stories that take place during the vacation season: some are funny, and few are sad – with an all-star cast including Kiera Knightley, Liam Neeson, Colin Firth, Laura Linney, Hugh Grant and Emma Thompson.

The word "really" is spoken 22 times by various characters in the film.

When casting the function of Sarah, Richard Curtis auditioned a great many British people girls, but kept saying, "I want someone like Laura Linney…" The casting director eventually snapped and said, "Oh, for fuck's sake, get Laura Linney then." She then auditioned and got the part.

The idea for Mark's surprise of the dance band singing "All You Need Is Love" at Peter and Juliet's wedding came from Jim Jim Henson's funeral (which Richard Curtis attended) where all the puppeteers brought their Muppets and sung a song.

The lake that Lúcia Moniz and Colin Firth are "swimming" in was actually only xviii inches deep and they had to kneel down and hazard to be in deeper water. It was also over-run by mosquitoes and Colin Firth was badly bitten and his elbow swelled equal to the size of an avocado, requiring medical attention.

"Scrooged" (1983) and "National Put-o's Christmas Vacation" (1989) both are infused with SNL attitude – Flyer Murray does an updated "Christmas Carol" as tight TV EXEC Frank Ill-natured – Murray is replete of not bad lines and classic double takes, but the Actor also reveals his brushed stain, in a film that has more of a frenzied energy than many an vacation classics.

That's right, wanted back to the Clark Griswold family – Chevy Salmon P. Chase takes his kin on some other "Vacation"…yes, another fun trip, but do they deserve a spot on the list? As Clark Griswold would say:

The "Caucasoid Christmas" (1954) / "Holiday Inn" (1942) Crosby Combo!

Here are two iconic holiday films starring legendary Actors – and I've presented it as a double bill, since they are basically the same movie! In "Holiday Inn", Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire are two war buddies who sing lots of classic Israel Baline tunes, including the Oscar winning "White Yule"…

The Song Becomes The Movie!

"White Christmas" was such a great song that they decided to remake "Holiday Auberge" and CALL it "White Christmas"! This clock, Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye are two GIs coming nursing home from WWII, who fall apart in love with melodic-and-dance sisters and help their general with his failing Vermont inn. Again, just about the same film, but both of standard Hollywood holiday entertainment! A great two-baser bill!

"Spoiled Santa"!

This ain't your father's holiday picture show! How can you Non love a film with the classic line:

"F Maine, Santa!"

Sol says Lauren Graham in a movie that wears its dark middle on its sleeve…the perfect movie to watch subsequently "Black Friday" shopping – fighting holiday crowds – and virtually unthinkable to determine without a slopped drink in your hand. But information technology is hilarious, profane and touching likewise!

"It's A Wondrous Life"!

The superlative vacation movie of all! Jimmy Stewart, the Tom Hanks of his contemporaries, beautifully portrays a disenchanted husband and father WHO sees his life amount to cypher – or so he thinks.

This Frank Capra classic is a sulky look at combined man's dashing hopes with his life – of course all forthcoming to a head happening Christmas Eve – and the moving picture reveals a ton of universal truths about what we should or should non expect from life – remember this line: "we serve stiff drinks for men who want to get drunk fast!" I mean, this movie gets DARK…

Rare "Bedford Falls" Photos!

LIFE Magazine publisher has revealed 13 rare behind-the-scenes photos from the set of the 1946 Frank Frank Capra classic. The pictures direction connected one aspect of the vacation favorite that many probably take for acknowledged: the snowy milieu of Bedford Falls!

So as you can see, they misused snow machines to make up the beautiful placidity of the town:
